2014/2015 Season

We were not able to schedule our usual series of Daylight Group meetings for a number of reasons. The most significant of these however was our secretary Graham Phillips temporarily 'put of of action' whilst waiting for a hip replacement. That operation went very well and we all wish Graham a speedy recovery. Last summer Graham indicated that the 2014-15 season would be his last year as Secretary - a post he has held since at least 2004. As is perhaps apparent from the hiatus, the role of Secretary is the most important of any in the Group. The Secretary helps formulate the programme, liaises with the speakers and books the venue. Graham has been an exemplary Group Secretary for at least a decade, and we owe a great deal of thanks to him.
